It is such a pity that the ending is so sad. I love the story, the landscape, the clothing, the paintings, the depiction of life in that time…. But whyy…whyy.. I hope there will be a sequel where the two will meet again and be together. Please let there be a sequel….
June 23, I watched again this drama after 8 years…I vaguely remembered the ending but still was so sad. I agree that it make no sense. March 30, Thank you so much for your great analysis and evaluation. I am left with a void after this most beautiful of dramas and the rather tragic and weak ending. June 28, I believe each actor and actress have played their part so well, and anyway I loooveee park shin yang , maybe the age difference is quite big between him and miss moon but their chemistry is undeniable, when dan won and yon bok have their moments it always give me goosebumps,.

This was the first Korean TV drama series I watched and later purchased. I have watched probably over since then, but Painter in the Wind is still my benchmark Both Moon Geun Young and Park Shin Yang play their roles very well, especially Geun Young who portrays a young man when, in fact, the actor is a woman. After seeing Painter in the Wind, Park Shin Yang has become one of my favorite actors; I have seen just about all his work since. I have seen this series, on average, at least once a year since purchasing it.

Amazing because this is her comeback to the drama-fold after 5 years. Cinematography and music was great. The story is very interesting since I am not familiar with it. When MGY secretly painted a women deep in her thoughts, everyone was behaving like it was a huge deal.
Apparently it is the Queen and it somehow symbolizes that the Queen is doing something immoral, actually she does have an affair with a buddhist priest or monk. Before we go to all that, obviously, it is still a romantic comedy drama mixed in and so allow me have PSY enter the story.
